Location near the Wharf is fantastic, easy to access attractions. The bathroom was cramped and not well designed. Breakfast had long lines but was enjoyable. Overall a decent stay.

Location is perfect, just a few blocks from Pier 39. The breakfast crowd was chaotic, especially in the dining area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Could hear a lot of noise from the halls at night.

Checking in was a nightmare! I waited almost an hour because the system was down. By the time I finally got to my room, I just wanted to crash, but the chaos left me feeling even more exhausted.

Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf Hotel offers a prime spot near Pier 39 and excellent accessibility to Alcatraz tours. The staff are friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was enjoyable, though some variety would enhance the experience. a comfortable stay in a bustling city.

Parking was across the street, but it ended up being cheaper, so that was a win. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast was a standout—lots of fresh options, but the lines after 8:30 am are ridiculous. Staff were helpful with navigating public transit. some basics like bathrobes were missing, and my shower gel was removed without replacement. A peculiar mix of great amenities and small frustrations. The lobby bar had friendly bartenders and tasty drinks, which added a nice touch to the overall experience.

Great location and friendly staff, but no coffee bar and noisy rooms.

The room service was quick and the food was tasty. The bell staff were friendly and helped us with our bags.
It wasn't the cheapest option out there, but it still felt reasonable for what we got.

Breakfast is a feast with endless options. Rooms are spacious and clean with good lighting and a safe parking lot.
Parking costs almost as much as the room.

This place is super close to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39—just a quick walk! The breakfast buffet is on point, with tons of options, though it can get a little chaotic when busy. Rooms are comfy with big beds, but they’re pretty noisy at night, especially with the street and AC. Just a heads up about the parking prices!

I loved the spacious and bright room that made me feel right at home! The breakfast spread was amazing, with everything from hot dishes to fresh fruits. The outdoor seating area with fire pits was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring.
Do recommend! ❤️😊

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing for restful nights. The room was quiet, providing a peaceful retreat despite being in a bustling area. Temperature control was effective, keeping the ambiance pleasant. Spotless cleanliness throughout made for a welcoming environment. Coffee machine in the room was a delightful touch, perfect for a coffee enthusiast like myself. breakfast access restrictions felt unnecessary, especially with a disabled friend. Staff interactions varied, with some being very accommodating while others were less helpful. A complimentary bottle of water would have been appreciated after a long day.

convenient location, convenient atmosphere with a great breakfast selection that catered to my family’s tastes and efficient staff who quickly assisted us with our needs.
The hotel shows some signs of age and the rooms could use a bit of updating.

The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the bay. I loved the convenience of the parking facilities and the delicious breakfast spread offered every morning. It was a great way to kickstart my day before my business meetings.
The thin pillows didn't offer much support, and the queue for breakfast was a bit long at times, impacting the overall flow of guests. the soundproofing in the rooms could be better, as noises from above rooms were quite noticeable, making it a bit challenging to get a good night's sleep.

The location is unbeatable—just steps from the Wharf and easy access to public transit. Rooms are clean, comfy, and well-maintained. The breakfast selection is impressive, catering to varied dietary needs, and you won't leave hungry. The bar is inviting, and the drinks are top-notch; however, prices are steep. Staff interactions were consistently courteous and helpful, despite the busy atmosphere. A $300 hold was unexpected and needs to be clarified. Minor inconveniences like non-functioning keys and a gym lacking free weights were disappointing. Soundproofing needs attention; choose a higher floor. Despite these issues, the experience was overall enjoyable, and I would stay here again.

Just a few minutes walk to Pier 39, Alcatraz ferry, and the vibrant boardwalk, this hotel made my weekend city strolls an absolute delight, with nearby gems like Ghirardelli Square and Coit Tower beckoning just a short walk away; the rooms were comfortable and very clean, offering a cozy place to rest after a day of sightseeing, but the breakfast experience could use improvement as the dining area was quite crowded.

At the nearby Aquarium of the Bay, our family immersed in underwater wonders, watching playful sea otters and swirling schools of fish. The hotel's concierge organized wine tours where we sampled local varietals with a view of the serene bay.
For families with children, my kids wished for a dedicated kids' club for themed activities.

The facilities include a pool and a gym. I had a great time at the cozy courtyard and the breakfast room. The outdoor pool was a nice extra for a motel-esque property.
Whale-watching in a gym is an interesting experience.

I chose Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf primarily for its convenient location near the docks, as I wanted to visit Alcatraz Island. However, the wide range of facilities and services at the hotel pleasantly surprised me. I particularly enjoyed the option of the snack bar, open all day, where I could try delicious snacks and appetizers.
Check-in process was frustrating.

We hit up some famous spots nearby and even took a wine tour - SO much fun! The hotel was super close to everything, like the aquarium, and the staff helped us plan our adventures!
The only thing missing for us young party animals was a happening nightlife scene nearby.

we had a wonderful stay at riu plaza fisherman's wharf. the hotel was really clean, and the staff were helpful and attentive. the prime location was close to many restaurants and pier 39, making it convenient for exploring and sightseeing. the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was great with no wait.

The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view of the city and the pool area. The beds were cozy, and we slept well during our stay. the lack of wall art in the room made it feel a bit sterile and could have added a more homely touch. One major downside was the poor water flow from the faucet in the sink. It was almost unusable, which was quite frustrating. the soundproofing in the room was lacking, as we could easily hear conversations from neighboring rooms. the location of the Sheraton was ideal for exploring the local attractions on foot. The amenities offered, such as the pool and breakfast options, were convenient and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, particularly the bartender who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. our experience at the Sheraton had its ups and downs.

During my xmas stay, I had a blast at a hotel near the wharf and just a short walk from all the action. The location was prime, with easy access to tram/bus stations and popular attractions like Pier 39. The room was cozy and well-equipped, complete with a handy coffee maker. Plus, the breakfast spread was top-notch, featuring a variety of delicious options to kickstart the day.
On the downside, the rooms were a bit noisy, and the thin walls made it easy to hear everything around you. The breakfast area could get loud and chaotic, with long queues and dirty plates piling up in plain sight.

Our experience at this hotel was absolutely amazing! The rooms were immaculately clean, and the location couldn't have been better. We were just a block away from the bay and close to everything - Chinatown, restaurants, and all the sights of San Francisco. The highlight of our stay was the delicious buffet breakfast with attentive staff. The lobby area was a perfect spot for family fun, with snacks for the kids and drinks from the bar for us. Highly recommended!
It was a bit confusing, but the staff was friendly and helpful in clarifying everything.

the hotel is super clean and tidy, and the location is amazing – just a couple of blocks from fisherman's wharf. you can pay at the restaurant, and they're really close. also, there's a safeway store across the street! they gave us a real crib for our baby - which was a lifesaver.
Strongly recommend
